>>> Marek Steffan - bandoneón Marek is the one who brought Argentinian tango to the Czech Republic. A professional dancer (he has won numerous world dance competitions and has been a choreographer of various dance and theatre performances), he was the first to give tango lessons in Prague and also founded the first milonga-tangodance room. Recently he has been dedicaded to study intensively the bandoneón. Every year he travels to Buenos Aires where he takes lessons with the most known bandoneon players. | |
>>> Lázaro Esteevez - voice, percussions A Uruguayan musician (Uruguay is also a cradle of tango) , Lázaro studied guitar, piano, and musical composition in his childhood with several professors. He won a competition for "the Song of Montevideo" (2000) and he also received various prizes for his photographic and graphic activities. Currentrly he lives in prague and studies photography at FAMU. His musical projects include bossa nova, tango and uruguayan musica. | |
>>> Tadeás Messany - double bass Tadeas is one of the most solicited bass players in the Czech Republic for his great versatility to alternate between popular music with classical. He studied at the State Conservatory of Prague, HAMU (Academy of Musical Arts) and the Conservatory of Jaroslav Jezek. He is member of the State Orchestra of the Radio Cesky rozhlas, which is one of the most important orchestras of classical music in the Czech Republic, and they tour around the world. He also plays with some popular groups of the current Czech scene, such as Sum svistu, Madera (with Iván Gutiérrez), Marcipán and E.O.S.T. | |
>>> Julián Teuball - piano, arrangements, compositions Julián studied at the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA),Argentina. Also he studied piano with Susana Kasakof, Gustavo Pires and Daniel Montes, with whom he also studied composition for more than 12 years. He has composed music for various theatre plays, cinema and multimedia events in Argentina, México and Czech Republic. Co-directed the theatre play "Pasos de Tango" and some years ago he founded and directed various ensambles dedicated to Argentinian tango in Prague. Currently he is the artistic director of Sin Rumbo. |
